Boy Scout Troop 188 has been serving the Scouts of Palatine, Illinois since 1964. It is a Scout-run troop, with adult leadership serving as mentors and providing guidance to the Scouts as they plan activities, work on community service projects and continue to advance through the ranks of the levels of Scouting. Many of our Scouts have achieved the highest rank of Eagle. Please check us out online on our Facebook page and website, or better yet, join us for one of our Monday night meetings.

The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.

For over a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes — and, through nearly a century of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.
